On 13th January 2008 all three Cunard ocean liners, the Queen Mary 2, the Queen Elizabeth 2 and the new Queen Victoria (on her Maiden transatlantic voyage) all met for one historic rendezvous in New York Harbor. A few months later, on 22nd April, all three ships met for the only time in Cunard’s home port of Southampton. Then on 16th October, 2008 the QE2 made her emotional final New York farewell departure and last transatlantic crossing in tandem with the QM2 shortly before heading to Dubai to become a floating hotel. Three Queens - An International Rendezvous is a amazing first hand visual documentary of these rare gatherings all in one complete collectible DVD.
Stand on the decks of QM2 pre-dawn as QE2 in front with Queen Victoria following enter New York Harbor and pass under the Verrazano Narrows bridge. Tour up the Hudson River in a small boat to see QE2 and Queen Victoria side by side at the Manhattan piers before their historic departure. Enjoy a close up water level view of the grand fireworks parade as all three Queens sail past the Statue of Liberty and out to sea.
Celebrate the Southampton reunion, again from on board QM2, for a once in a lifetime event as she sails up the Solent to salute QE2 and Queen Victoria. Then in the autumn experience the excitement from QM2 as QE2 makes a stirring final departure from New York with her regal 39 foot paying off pennant flying in the breeze, one foot for each year of loyal service. Sail in tandem with QE2 across the Atlantic and share a powerful mid-ocean farewell horn saute and cheer between the two Cunarders with magnificent ship to ship footage of the crossing. Lastly, head down the Solent on 22nd October 2008 for a close up look at QE2 as she makes one of her next to last departures from Southampton and see QM2 sail away, never again to pass the QE2.

“As a QE2 enthusiast for all my life, I can heartily
recommend this poignant look into some of the final moments of the
greatest liner of all time, as she is bid farewell from her 2 much
younger fleet mates. For QE2 aficionados, this DVD is easily
worth the
money alone for the spectacular
footage of her making her final
transatlantic crossing (shot from her replacement, QM2, alongside) and
for the footage of her leaving New York for the final time, as the
skyscrapers start to sparkle as darkness falls.

"For those Cunard enthusiasts who are avid fans of the contemporary
Queens, the new dvd “Three Queens: An International
Rendezvous” by Robert Neal Marshall is an absolute must.
Having been in the cruise industry for nearly twenty years,
I’ve seen my share of cruise ship and ocean liner videos and
dvds…this certainly ranks up there with the best of them.
While this new work is not a marketing tool or historical account, it
manages to capture the incredible feeling of being in the presence of
these wonderful ships.
Although the entire dvd is wonderful,
QE2’s final transatlantic crossing is, for me at least, a
very emotional segment. I’ve no shame in admitting that
seeing the ship in the role for which she was designed, one last time,
brought a few tears to my eyes. Filmed from various vantage points on
QM2, inside and on deck, the images of QE2 barreling along in her
element are nothing short of spectacular. The crystal clear video,
moving soundtrack, and nearly flawless editing combine to make a
production that Robert Neal Marshall can be proud of; all honor to
him." --R. Willoughby, CunardConnections.com

Queens. I would like you to know that I think that it is spectacular.
By far, the most wonderful footage of the QE2 I have ever seen. I am
simply delighted. I showed a buddy of mine the 3 Queens DVD and he
thought it was great. I knew he would. I am ordering this additional
copy on his behalf. Again, congratulations.........simply brilliant. --F.

"A very well done production and it is a must have for everyone
interested in ships. I did enjoy hearing your commentary and seeing the
Cunard Queens in port at Southampton and New York, and the video filmed
from the deck of the QM2 as both ships crossed the Atlantic. Seeing the
interiors of the QE2 brings back memories of the times I was aboard the
QE2." -J. Nuovo, Northvale, NJ
