Product Description

First flying in May, 1953, the DC-7 was the last major piston-powered aircraft built by Douglas. The extended range DC-7C variant, nicknamed the "Seven Seas," was, with its longer wings and increased fuel capacity, capable of non-stop transatlantic flights.

A replica of a Sabena Douglas DC-7C flown by West Germany's Südflug International (a Stuttgart-based charter airline) until 1968, when the airline went bankrupt, this 1/200 scale, die cast Hobby Master model features simulated cockpit and cabin windows, realistic Wright R-3350 radial engine fronts with rotating propellers, optional-position landing gear, authentic 1967 markings, and more. Measures approximately 6¾" long with a 7½" wingspan and includes a display stand. Please Click On Image For A Closer Look!
