A New Concept In Flight! Capital Airlines VISCOUNT

Introducing Capital Airline's Viscount!
Introducing a NEW aircraft is an exciting event for any airline. The concept of the Prop Jet's smooth, quiet, and comparatively vibrationless travel was brand new to air travelers in the mid 1950's. Capital rolled our their first Vickers-Armstrong VISCOUNT 744, N7402 in the summer of 1955 in Hanger #3 at Washington National Airport. Remarkable as it may sound, then Vice-President Richard M. Nixon was a key note speaker at the Christening Ceremony!
